manroland Southern Africa’s technicians are hard at work in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal, where the initial installation phase of a Roland 706 3B LV is currently underway at a prominent folding carton board packaging manufacturer in South Africa.

As a pioneer of print innovation, Manroland Sheetfed has developed many world firsts since the company was established in 1871. The OEM’s ongoing commitment to push the boundaries of what is possible in offset printing continues to produce breakthrough technologies that bear the hallmarks of innovation, productivity and quality.

Said Molefe Ratlhagane, Managing Director of manroland Southern Africa, ‘Designed and developed to Manroland Sheetfed’s exacting standards, critical components in every ROLAND press is precision manufactured to tolerances up to 30 times finer than a human hair.’

He continued, ‘For an industry demanding ever more personalised design and reduced lead times, ROLAND presses come with a wealth of cutting-edge automation technologies to deliver cost and energy savings for print operations, along with ever faster make-ready times and optional technologies for virtually any specialised function or print requirement.’

The handover will take place in August, where the press will be utilised for packaging printing.
